I like to hunt for small, lost, cemeteries on local back roads.

I travel often for work and have chosen not to be a photo volunteer, but check needed photos in my area and work to fulfill them.

Please think about either making a donation of some sort to the caretakers of these lost cemeteries. I can help you get the addresses, or to me on PayPal at genealojay@gmail.com to cover gas, bug spray, and coffee.

Happy hunting,
J

I just looked at my messages. I really answered several times. Sorry about that.

I must apologize but I don't know if I replied to your inquiry. The newspaper you are inquiring about that was in circulation in 1900 was the Blue Rapids Times. The Blue Rapids Library has a name index of all names that appeared in the Times.

Zadock Fearis
Thank you so much for providing the photos of the grave of my 4th great grandfather, Zadock Fearis, found in the Toddsville, Otsego County, cemetery. I have been looking for him for over twenty years!
Gratefully, Deb Rittmeyer

RE: Herman Grossman
Hi J.C.

I just noticed there was already a memorial setup for Grossman & his wife, although my pic looks nicer. If I get back there, I will take a pic of his veterans stone. Unless you feel there is another Grossman there. The bugs just would not leave me alone last night, I can do better next time.

Joseph Lindsay Robinson
RE: Lindsays in Wallkill
Hi JC,

Thanks for inquiring about the Lindsay's in Walkill. Those first names do not sound familiar to me. The only Lindsay's from my family in that area were Thomas, Anne (his wife), and their daughter Diane.

Thanks again,
Joe

RE: Oscar D. Arnott photo
Tou're quite welcome. I see Oscar was only 41 or 42, so I assume by your reply that he ended his own life. Poor guy.

Regards,

Louis
