Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have recently taken on the challenge of my family genealogy. I enjoy the research and quite by accident stumbled across Thanks to the generosity of others, I was able to locate a lot of my family. is great way to locate deceased relatives and reinforce ties with loved ones still living.

Concerning memorial transfers:
" Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. " The quote is per Find A Grave guidelines.

Many thanks to those who also have walked these cemeteries and added photos! It is because of you that works so well.

Sampson Snyder Jr. #103194558
The will of his dad spells his name Sampson Snyder Jr. The grave marker spells it Samson Snyder. It is also spelled both ways in some of the family history literature. I speculate that Jr. wanted to distinguish himself from his dad so he dropped the P in Sampson. He was a well-known business man in the area so that might be it.

It's not a big deal but would you mind changing your photo text to read:
Samson (Sampson)
1868 - 1945

Thanks for considering and thanks for adding the photo of the stone.

Charles Edward Cassell
Thank you so much for checking at Lewis Clark Memorial Gardens regarding Charles Edward Cassell. Sorry for the delay in deleting his record for that cemetery but it has been done now. I'll update my ancestry records to reflect the correct cemetery for him.

Are you sure he doesn't have a military headstone in Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens? That is why I made that memorial and asked for a photo to confirm he doesn't have a headstone in both locations. It is not unheard of and I had documents through that led me to believe that was the case here. He is my 1st cousin (3x removed) though I did not know him. I have Cassell family history though.
