RE: Greg Eric Hogsten
Sorry, I don't/didn't know any of the Hogstens. No idea if it's the person you are looking for.

Martha,

I will gladly add the information to Alice Huffman's memorial that you sent. Thank you for sponsoring the memorial. I see I lack a lot of information for Alice so if there is anything else that you could add, that would be great. Would you like a transfer of her memorial?

RE: Abraham Isaac
No, Sylvester is one of his sons and my great-great grandfather. Sorry if that was confusing.

RE: Abraham Isaacs
I don't know, I will look and see if I can find out. Abraham is not a direct ancestor of mine. I was looking for Abraham's father when I took the picture, Richard Augustus Wilkes Isaacs, who is my great-great-great grandfather. Abraham's half-brother Sylvester is my ancestor. I understand that the two of them emigrated to southern Illinois to be with their dad in his later years. Some of Abraham's descendants are still in Illinois. If I recall correctly one of his two wives (Abraham's mother?) was Mary Polly Stonestreet, however this was not my ancestor.

You are so welcome. I honestly did not realize that she died 10 days after my husband. I remember it was the same time of the year but not that close. Had other things on my mind at that time. Again, you're,welcome. Sherry

RE: Maude May Herrell
Sometimes I have to seriously wonder if I've forgotten how to search my own family tree!

Sure enough, there was Rev George & his wife Elizabeth Williams and a daughter that I had as Maida May, but clearly married to William A Harkleroad and children Homer, Elsie, Ruby, Mildred and Elmer in my Harrell/Herrell family tree.

And I agree, they did appear to be in Girard, Trumbull Co, Ohio at least as late as the 1940 census and then also 1942 when William registered for the WWII draft.

Going back to Rufus, he was a younger brother to my ancestor Azariah Herrell, minister at Zion Baptist, south of Clinton for about 47 years.

Thank you for helping someone with their genealogy - because it now means I may be closer to finding Maida/Maude's burial and perhaps getting her linked on Findagrave.

Maude May Herrell
I have a Herrell family tree and tried to find Maude May, but no luck. Do you know who her parents were?

Thanks for the William Harkleroad #112983092 info. I updated his record.
