|I am interested in finding headstones to add to my ancestry.com website. I have just really started to get into the research aspect of my family tree and love it! |
I would be happy to help with getting photos for others, but have a young child, so I'm not sure how often I could get out. If you have a specific request, e-mail me and I'll try to help.

Hello - My photos are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 United States License
What the license means is that I am granting you permission to use my photos for any purpose you wish but if you want to re-publish a photo on another website or in a book or periodical, you may do so only if you give credit to me as the original source and copyright holder. A good way to do that is to say: "Photo Courtesy of D.D. Thompson, Find-a-Grave Volunteer." You could also include a hyperlink to the Find-a-Grave memorial where you found the photo, but that's optional.

That is fine. Have a great day

Hi! I saw your photo request - I don't know if you are local but if you are and you have a library card for Lancaster County, PA, you can get his full obituary by logging onto the following website: http://online.lancasterlibraries.org/
Note: You need the card number to log in.
There are two ProQuest links. ProQuest ABI/INFORM is NOT the better resource. The second ProQuest link "Provides access to Lancaster newspapers only: Intelligencer Journal and New Era backfiles, combined Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era, and Sunday News . . . "
This archive goes back to 1995.
You can also view partial obituaryies at www.LancasterOnline - goes back only to 1989 and then if you want you can purchase the full article for I believe $2.95.
