Druzia Ellis
I'm inquiring about Druzia Ellis.
Was her maiden name Redman or Flynn, and do you know the names of her parents?

Thank you,

Cora (Smart) Woods
Roxy I found the paper from cemetery when Judy and I went and took picture of graves for Cora, Donald and Rosemary Woods. I was going to add the plot to her memorial and that is when I discovered the memorial is at wrong cemetery. Cora along with Donald and Rosemary are buried in Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost, Kansas City, MO. Cora is Block 8, Lot 103, Space 11. I don't have it written down for Donald and Rosemary but they are buried together. I have the map of cemetery and block map they gave us at the office, both papers have Calvary Cemetery printed on them.

RE: related
OK I remember seeing your grandmother a couple of times when I was young. Judy Haines and I visited several cemeteries last year when I was in KC for a few days and took several photos. Judy knew where Donald and Rosemary and Cora were buried. Nice to talk to you. Rosie

RE: Cora Woods
Glad I was able to take the picture. She is my cousins grandmother on their father side (Donald Woods). Anything else I can help with let me know. Rosie

Nancy Hopkins-Ford Family Cemetery
Hi Roxy,
FYI -- I'm not sure how you'll want to handle this, but I just noticed that you've created a duplicate (# 85255015) for a memorial that was created in 2006 - # 15820910.

RE: Mary Welton
Images sent via You can see wonderful views of the area on Google Earth. Pretty amazing when you realize virtually all of the immediate vicinity from the highway to the valley behind the cemetery was farmed by Moses Welton.

Mary Welton
You're very welcome. It was a glorious day to go for a walk in the country, and the old Welton property sits atop a hill with breathtaking views. Moses Welton settled in the best possible area of the county. If you ever get a chance to check historical abstracts, you will see he owned a very large portion of the area, working hard to convert it to the productive farmland seen today. I have other images of the scene if you would like to see them? I'm sure Susan Ing would be happy to transfer your grandmother's memorial to you...just send a request to her page.

Thank you
Thank you very much for the excellent photo of Sarah Ann Gunter's rock in Gunter Cemetery in Cosby. I can actually read her name & more scratched on the stone! She was a 2nd Great-Grandmother of mine. I took photos there in 2010 but couldn't read her name on any. Thanks again.
