Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a resident of Solano County in California and I have recently gotten into learning about my ancestry and it is so addicting!! My family lines I am researching are the Wagner's, Grasse's, Anthony's, Thom's, Ramirez, Logan, Padilla, Rodarte, and the Miller's. Alot of my family comes from Germany, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Mexico, and California. It is wonderful to be connected in a community of people who just want to learn and discover about their heritage and I am happy to be able to virtually visit my relatives that I never met before. I am willing to help others in the same quest if needed. Please just let me know.

Fortunato Padilla Photo Request
Hello.... Trina???

I am writing to let you know I went to The Martinez Historical Society Museum, Martinez, California to research photo requests at St. Catherine of Siena Cemetery. The listing, which is considered to be the newest, up-to-date listing, was last updated in 2009, and your ancestor passed away in 2010. Therefore, Fortunato Padilla doesn't appear on the cemetery listing. I did take a photograph of the listing showing the Padillas that are in St. Catherine Cemetery. If you are interested in seeing this list, and photos of the maps of the Cemetery, let me know. I did look in the areas where Padillas are supposed to be buried, and didn't find any Padilla markers (just in case Fortunato was buried near the other family members).

RE: Vernon and Evelyn Miller
I have transfered Vernon & Evelyn Miller to you. My husband is also related to them! According to my Family Tree Maker they would be 2nd cousins twice removed. The closest direct link would be Jacob & Lydia (Flick) Miller my husbands ggg-grandparents. I haven't done much research on the descendants of Rueben Miller. So I am transfering hoping you will fill in the blanks and add some helpful information for those who will be searching in the future. My husband descends from Ruebens brother Charles.

There is a possibility of being at St. Catherine's. If you know the date of death to can call Martinez's Rec & Park department, who has a printout.

RE: Catalina Padilla
You are very welcome.

I tried to find his date of death, but didn't have any luck. Could he have gone back to Mexico after Inez died?

Good luck.

RE: Harvey Edward Anthony

I deleted the two photos as requested. I'm happy they were able to reset the stone for you. I certainly understand why you would want new photos.

RE: Margaret Ann Flick
The cousin wouldn't be Sherrie Rice Smith by any chance would it? She is another cousin that lives in Wisconsin. Her 4th great grandfather is Charles Flick a brother of your 4th great grandmother Lydia and my 4th great grandfather Jonas Flick.

I know what you mean, figuring out how everyone is related is very confusing. We would be 6th cousins, since our 4th great grandparents were siblings. The "removed" comes in if the generations are different, for example, if your 4th great grandparent was my 5th great aunt, we would be 6th cousins once removed. Fortunately my family tree software helps me figure it out, lol, without it I might be able to figure it out given enough scratch paper.

Yes, I am related to her, she is my 1st cousin 5 times removed, her husband, Jacob Flick is my 1st cousin 5 times removed too! Her mother, Lydia Flick was my 4th great aunt and Jacobs father was also my 4th great uncle. I would be happy to transfer her to you though.
