Bio Photo My interest in our family roots began at a fairly young age and grew when I was a young teen when my mom handed me a three-page paper of her family tree marked up and requested that I re-type it for another family genealogist. I've worked on it off and on ever since taking long breaks when I'm just no longer in the "mood" for it or when my time has been required elsewhere. My methods have been a bit haphazard, seek and find with a lot of repetitious efforts, I fear. I have been going back over my notes and NOW re-entering my sources as I was very lax at that although I often wrote down where I found what. I am also actually entering my notes onto my Family Tree Maker which appears for all to see...mistakes and all. It certainly is a work in progress.
*Since writing this I have lost my life's work that was on the FTM...thanks to Ancestry to changing companies, I believe. It doesn't even seem to appear for the public's use anymore. I am saddened...extremely so by this turn of events but am hoping when I can afford to, have a computer geek see if he can retrieve it

Something I don't understand is volunteers who don't allow messages to be sent to them.

The "they" you referred to would be me--obvious since I took the photos. Since you want to know who's in that line (and since I didn't post that info) I suggest looking at the other Clark photos and maybe you can ascertain who is next to who. May be a little time consuming comparing size of stone, position, grass growing around but that's the only idea I have.

I am hundreds of miles away from this cemetery so that's all I can offer.

Thanks again for another photo. I hope you didn't make a special trip. I just really wanted to give you a heads up should there be an issue of some kind. Yes Find A Grave does have hiccups every now and then so do PC's. Thank you again for your efforts and enjoy your 4th.

Sheryl, I just wanted to let you know that my memorial is right. The one you are referring to, in Iowa, is his father.

Charles Peck memorial
Correction to last message
Chester Peck, brother to Charles L. Peck, married Hattie Peet, twin sister to Hallie Peck, Charles Peck's wife! Like I said, this is very confusing!

Charles L. Peck headstone photo
Thank you so much for taking the photo! I suspected Charles' birth year was wrong on memorial. (This was very confusing because his brother Chester Peck married Hallie Peet, twin sister to Charles' wife, Hallie Peet.)

RE: Kinsey Dawson
Was that Kinsey B. Dawson who is supposed to be buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa?

Thanks for the photo. I do want to point out if you haven't noticed, your image can't be enlarged. Maybe it's cropping or maybe Find A Grave but most of them you can click on them and see the image enlarged. I can see his wifes name but not really his. Thanks for including the dates that were on the stones. Appreciate your efforts but thought you might want to check this out. #170825981
