Hi Martin, it's been awhile! I cannot remove any of the headstone pics for his memorial as I am not the one who posted them. You will have to contact either Gerald Whelpley to remove the smaller pic, or Alethea England to remove the larger one. Hope that helps! Can't wait to see the new pic you want to post, you know how much I love old photos! Pam

RE: Joy Sue Klanke
Hi Martin and Sharon,

First, thank you for making the updates and its a pleasure to "meet" you.

According to my handy relationship chart in family tree maker, Joy Sue is the stepdaughter of the husband of a sister-in-law of an aunt. Let me try to explain:

Joy Sue
Ethel marries Lloyd De La Montanya
Lloyd's first wife, Relda Gardner
Relda had a brother Edwin Burroughs Gardner
Edwin B is the father of my uncle Edwin Fiori Gardner (by marriage of one of my mother's sisters, Helen Lieuana "Betty")
You should be able to follow the trail via Find A Grave - my mother was Beverly, Betty's youngest sister

As the "unofficial/official" family genealogist (having inherited the task from Aunt Betty), I'm currently working on the Gardner branch and that is how I came across Joy Sue.

If I can provide you with further details, please don't hesitate to ask. Always happy to share!

Kathleen

And thanks for thinking I'm not nuts!

RE: Klanke,Edw F
I just realized that the gentleman that I am looking for was born around 1923, to be the one that served with my husband in WWII.
Thank you for your kind answer. Michigan Mother

Did he serve in the 384th Bomb Group, at Grafton Underwood, Eng?

Am looking for someone who served with my husband.

Thank you so much for your work on FindaGrave.
