Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello all, I'm just beginning this new undertaking so please be patient as I learn the ins and outs. I live in the Tucson, AZ area so if I can help anyone with a Southwest connection, let me know. My genealogical interests are focused on the Gearharts, Latshas, Recce (Rizzi) and Pinamonti families in the Northumberton area of PA...all relations of my dad's. On my mom's side are the Brown's, Couchman's, McMahon's, and Sisks from W.VA, Kentucky, Illinois/Indiana etc. I have always enjoyed history and love being a bit of a history "detective", so tracing my ancestors and leaving a legacy of history for my siblings and our children is important to me now and hopefully, will be one day for them!

RE: Memorial # 118275145
Rick -Thanks for letting me know of the Latsha/Leffler correction. I have other Latsha information because of the connections, let me know if I can help. I can be contacted at ashortnote@psbnewton.com. Genealogy is addicting and, as with all addictions, it can sometimes lead to errors, but they are easily corrected when someone takes time to check and recheck, which it seems you are doing. Good luck in all your family finding endeavors

Father of Lydia (Schreffler) Latsha
Rick, the death certificate of Lydia (Schreffler) Latsha, gives father's name as Gottfried Schreffler. Your memorial on Find-A-Grave number 118275145 gives parents as John Leffler and Louisa Alleman. Gottfried's wife was Eva Margaretha Lebo, who was probably Lydia's mother. I will send you an edit through Find-A-Grave that you can either accept or reject. Would you like a copy of Lydia's death certificate? Sincerely, Theodore "Ted" Spear, Flint, Michigan.

RE: W. L. Brian's info - Memorial #105656142
I am not sure why my reply posted several times. I'm sorry about that.

I read the post below mine which mentions several entries being wrong. My aunt and uncle who owns the property went in the woods to the cemetery many years ago and wrote down the information engraved on the headstones and then typed out a list. That list is what I used to make the memorial entries. I checked W.L. Brian's info and it was incorrect on the list. One day soon I'll double check the list with my memorial entries and hopefully go to the cemetery this winter to check for any more errors.

RE: W. L. Brian's info - Memorial #105656142
I just made the changes. Thank you so much for letting me know. The cemetery is on my aunt and uncle's property. They made a list of all the information they could find on the stones. I planned to go there and take pictures this winter when it's too cold for snakes lol. I'm glad you were able to take some. Did you take pictures of all the headstones?

Brian memorials
I'm adding the photos for the Brians at Story Cemetery (Marshall Co., KY) that you requested. This cemetery is on private property and in a fenced area inside the woods.
Many of the entries on here do not match the stones and will have to be corrected - I don't know if it was a very bad transcription or what exactly..
If you would like to see more photos of the overall cemetery, you can email me kyresearch@yahoo.com
My family is buried there, it was at one time land owned by my ancestor.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Rick, you will be the only one who can add info to the memorials. Others can only leave a note, flower or a photo up to a total of 5 completely on the memorial. You of course may do the same but they only allow a total of 5 pictures per memorial unless you sponsor the memorial, then it goes up to 15 I believe. So if you have any pictures you would like to post let me know and I'll walk you through the process. Welcome to the group. Sincerely, Robert Miller

Rick, I like to keep families together and because you are related you now have management of the memorials. Be kind to them for they are your history. Sincerely, Robert Miller
