Sarah Gage
Hi,

I found a pic of the grave for Sarah Gage that you were looking for. It's on the website: http://www.bradfordburialground.com/sarah_gage.htm

You're welcome.

I didn't know he was buried in Dorset; what an odd thing to do, since he had no connection with that county that I know of. I presume it was his daughter Sarah Churchill who did it, wasn't it?

Jamie.

In answer to your question, unfortunately I just happened upon the photo when searching for one of my ancestors. I tried several ways to bring up a larger photo, but nothing came up. I wish I could help you out. I can give you a suggestion: when searching for your descendants, if there is a cemetery, church, or mausoleum, etc. enter the name of the cemetery including the city or town it is in and use the words "images" or "photos". I hope you find the photo you need.

I just located her tomb and have attached it to the Find A Grave Memorial. Hope this helps.

It was a pleasure locating the actual church where she is buried. However, I could not add the photo of the actual Memorial which I was able to locate under a different website. The photo is named "The Courtenay/Beaufort Memorial". According to the Find A Grave Memorial, a note was added that Courtenay was buried somewhere else. I am just a member and search the internet for legitimate sites for photos. If I locate the photo, I will attach it to her Memorial.

Robin,
I reviewed the pictures and did not find where I had taken any of the stones without the foil. It appeared from the dates that this was a followup trip to the cemetery two days later and they were grouped in my folder with several others where I used foil to be able to read them. None had pictures without the foil. Probably had noted them on first trip as needing review with the foil. I took over 200 pictures the first visit. This cemetery was in the Newport Ammunition Plant area and access was only on Memorial Day weekend when accompanied with a security escort. We now live 100 miles away and cannot just drive past and take new ones. Sorry.
