please don't quit. again this was not my intention. i guess i will have to start looking closer at the find a grave site for ones that people have claimed. i usually only go through my e-mails and write them down. again was not trying to take credit for your claimed items, you can still fulfill those. i know you can cause i add photos to ones that have already posted photos before. cameras are different and all take pics diferently. seasons change. please add the photos you have taken your camera might take a lot better ones than mine. don't quit cause of my not keeping track.
Hi Donna! Please don't quit volunteering.
As a fellow photo volunteer, I have had my share experience of others taking photos and posting, when I had already claimed. I'm sorry for your experience. Please keep photographing. Your volunteering is what makes Find a Grave great! :-)

I'm so sorry this has upset both Donna and Laura in photographing this gave site. It is such a wonderful thing you both do in putting these gave sites up. Please don't quit. It is people like you that bring families together and this is very important. I'm not a Huotari but I've known a member for years and you can not know what pleasure you are bring to this family through your photos.
Each day I try to bring a smile to someone's face and give hours of my own time to help this. This is what family research is all about. "Connecting Love ones".
God bless you both.

I was not trying to take your claimed people. I was just there at the time. I did not mean to upset you and you could have posted them as well. I have taken pictures and added to other pictures that have been added to people on here alot. I won't touch yours again I thought that you had already been there and didn't have a chance to post them. My apologies. Try to have a good day and again I am sorry. I have seen so many claimed ones that have been claimed for months and it's only suppose to be for 14 days. I just didn't pay attention to when you had claimed them. Again I am sorry.

I have added him in Pine Hill cemetery. Also added his obituary.

Joseph is buried in Section T, Lot 167, Space 6 at Resthaven Cemetery.
|Mark Limke||Photo request|
Greetings! I see you have one or more requests for the Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa. I live nearby, and will fulfill your request(s), if you could obtain the curb/section number, plus the plot number.
The grave markers are nearly all flush to the ground, and finding them without specific location data would take hours, and so isn't likely to happen.
But if you call them (515.233.1230), and ask for the plot info, they will probably help you. They balk at helping well-intentioned strangers, like me. You should get the block number (curb number), and the plot number. For example, section 54, plot R-71. We MUST have that curb/section number, or we won't be able to find it.
I think you can edit your photo request to add this data, once you get it. At that point, you may get a volunteer to go after the photo for you. I did some last week, once I got the location data, and it only took 10 minutes.
Best regards -- Mark
