Charity Hinds Geron
Hello, Would you kindly delete the dates you have for Charity Hinds Geron? They are incorrect, and are actually the vital dates of a completely different Charity Hinds. The Charity Hinds who died in Cole County Missouri was the Charity who was married to William Bond, out of Wayne County, Kentucky. She is buried with her husband, and has the dates of 1789-1860. Her memorial is 54160357.
Your Solomon Geron DID indeed marry a Charity Hinds....but is not the Charity who passed in Jan 1861 in Cole County. Thanks for your time, and feel free to delete this post as it is simply a request.

Thomas Marsh
Thank you for creating a memorial for Thomas. I just created one for his second wife in Plowman Cemetery. I am searching for her parents, John and Alsey Irwin. Can you tell me where the Thurman name came from?

your welcome. I was just glad that we were able to get it. It started to rain just as we were standing at the grave site.

RE: Lazarus Vann
Hi Mary!

Yes that is the same person. He was my great, great grandfather and there are many of his descendants here in Texas. He had quite an interesting history. I've never been able to document his marriage to Moonbeam however ... but I have traced Lazarus's family line back to the 1600's in the U.S. and many family members were married to, and are descendants of, Cherokee Indians. The Vanns were fur traders from England and Scotland.

All the best,

Wylene Yoes
