I was born in Oklahoma but moved to Texas when I married a Texan.|
I became interested in genealogy in 1975 and as a result became a cemetery buff.
TRANSFER OF MEMORIALS - I feel that a memorial is best served when maintained by a family member. There is much more to a persons life than just a list of dates and links. The memorials that I have created and/or maintain include direct ancestors, very close kin, distant kin and no known relationship. I will gladly transfer a memorial to persons who have a kinship to a particular person. Be sure to make your request from the edit page and include your name, relationship and your member number in your request. Under no circumstances will I transfer a direct ancestor.
Please feel free to use the photos that I have posted as a part of your family tree. However, when using any of my photos, I request that you state that these photos are from the files of Sandra Haney Tedford. I know that I always want to know the source of a photo and I feel that most other serious genealogists feel the same way.
A few of my major family lines are Anderson, Attaway, Banks, Bickham, Bradley, Brock, Copeland, Gillis, Greeson, Haney, Herod, Holbrook, Phillips, Shelton, Sinclair, Oates and Qualls.
My favorite genealogy quote is by Edmund Burke - "People will not look forward to posterity who never look backward to their ancestors".

Hi, Sandra! It has been a while since we've spoken, and I hope all is well with you. I am on my way to San Antonio for a conference and we stopped in Ardmore - we made our way to Berwyn Cemetery in Gene Autry and found the area of the Haney plots where she is buried. Thank you for the guidance on this site, as it was amazing to be there. My next quest will be to find her daughter, my GGrandmother Julia Attaway Knight's grave. Best,

Sandra, I have been trying to locate this relative for a very long time. Her mother Mary or Molly is my Great Grandfathers sister. If I could have found her in before 1980 she pass I could have asked her some questions lol but I don't know what relation u are to Mae but I need some info on her Grandfather William Points.I can't find anything on him after 1870. The 1880 census has her Grandmother listed as a widow with children Alexander and Mary. Would u know any info on him and any other info on this family. I have info on Alexander if u or any of his family from his sister would need. I have a little bit of info on Lillian or Lila, I got that from the Savannah Funeral home. copy of Obit and funeral records. and I also have copy of Mary's funeral records. If any of Mae's family are still around Savannah could use a pic of her headstone. And also a list of her descentants too. Let me know if u don't mind sharing info. Thank u in advance

I fulfilled your photo requests at Holland Cemetery in Saltillo, Hardin County, TN. My hubby is the photographer in the family but he was not with me. Since photography was apparently not my calling, I took lots of photos and loaded them all. lol You will probably want to "pick the best and scrape the rest."
Love your Bio,

Is this memorial the same as the one you entered as 104340557 somewhat unreadable. Lydia was the wife of Tom and their son is buried in our cemetery. Thx.

Can you give me more info on this, like can you post a photo of the head stone? Ay info. He may be my missing great great grandfather
|Steve Hoyt||RE: Holt memorials|
They are related to my first wife, but I would be happy to take ownership since I don't know anyone on her side who is working on genealogy.
