|I live in Hawaii, but I have been entering memorials taken from the records of the Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA., as published on their CD. Many of my ancestors are buried there.|
All I have is the burial dates, so I have just been entering the month and year. If you want the exact burial date, please contact me. If I have any of your family and you want to assume management of those persons, just let me know.

Thanks for your devotion to the project. I have many Reazor ancestors who are buried in Chas. Evans Cemetery. What a thrill to see a photo of my ancestor, Winfield S. Reazor posted. It was a photo of him as a youth and I am curious how you obtained this photo for posting.
Thanks in advance,
Sherry R. Breton
Thank you for the transfers. Appreciate it. Peggy

You are welcome for the photo.
Actually, most of the cemetery is in very good shape and well-maintained. It is quite large. The very old sections do have some fallen headstones.
Please change Basil Elder's page from 'Non-cemetery burial' to New Cathedral Cemetery, the same as his wife's cemetery.
|S. Oakley||William Fasig Tyson|
Hi, Coral, and thanks for replying.
I don't know why William Fasig Tyson is showing up under "sibling" on James R. Tyson's memorial, since he also shows up there as his parent (which is correct). I don't manage that memorial, and hadn't noticed the error before. I've asked the manager of that memorial for William Fasig Tyson to be left as James R.'s father and removed as his sibling.
I've also been trying for many years to link all the Tysons together. Here's where a mistake is often made - James R. Tyson (my g-grandfather) was the child of William Fasig Tyson and his first wife, Mary Ann Welsh. Their marriage at Orwigsburg is documented in church records and they can be found on the 1850 census in Orwigsburg. I can provide this information, as well as additional information, if you would like. The other children mentioned in William Fasig's obituary are James R. Tyson's half-siblings, the children of William and his second wife, Catherine Stamm. Yes, Mary Fasig Tyson was John W. Tyson's wife, but "my" Mary Tyson (William Fasig Tyson's first wife) is, I believe, memorial #90908672, Mary Ann Tyson, as the date of death is correct for her.

Do you have any additional information on Susan Tyson or her burial record?
I believe she might be the wife of Benjamin Tyson and that her maiden name may by "Haak" but I would need to go to the cemetery office to confirm. Thought I would check with you first....

The cemetery record cites a death of 1990, but Social Security record cites Nov 7, 1989. Please add this to her bio. I'm sending an edit for this.Diane

Hope you do not mind the information overload. I have been researching death certificates for your memorials.
