Bio and Links
I pay tribute to those who have gone before and contributed to make me who I am, by remembering them. Most of the folks for whom I have created or maintain FAG memorials are direct lines. In some cases they are collateral lines for whom I have done research and made connections. If you are a direct descendant (and I am not) and would like to have me transfer the maintenance of the memorial to you, I would be more than happy to do so.

To have me transfer to or make additions/corrections for a memorial, please click the tab labeled "Edit" on the individual's page (top right hand side). Then click on the top line "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" and fill in the box with the request. Also, please include your FAG number for easier transferral.

Thanks very much.

I will note it in the bio. Unfortunately, Find A Grave is only using what currently exists for locations. Manhattan Ohio is not listed.

Lori Rute Fortner is the owner of the Ancestry Tree where I got my information from, but there are no sources for Johannes Buck (1730-1822)and Catherine Balsbaugh, his wife.
For Christian Buck (1754-1829) she used: bibliography.: Johannes Buck, 1747-1790, Christian and Catherine Buck and their descendents, 1747-1958, compiled by Edith Buck Fisher, Mrs. Miriam Buck Ulrey, Martha Louis Hetrick. 1958.

Lori bought this book via about 5 years ago (from when she wrote this note therefore 2005). She paid $25 + shipping for it.
You might try writing her for the source about Johannes (1730-1822)and his wife.
I have no idea what "Johannes Buck, 1747-1790" means in her bibliography. Maybe a chapter??? Maybe the date he immigrated on the ship "TWO BROTHERS".
Christian Buck (1754-1929) is my 5th great grandfather.
Happy Hunting, cousin!

Kunkle, Nina B. & Ralph O.
There are several Kunkles buried in the same plot and each has an individual marker for their location. I'll put the GPS location in their memorials so you can see where they are at. I'm assuming that they are there. I'll check the obituary records at the Historical Society next time I'm there. - Dale

Swift graves
Sorry, I don't remember exactly where but the cemetery is small and easy to walk around. The first part is more modern, with the back 2/3rds older. Good luck.

re: Capt. Seth Deming
Yes, photo was taken IN the cemetery. There is always the possibility that the stones were moved later.

this is no such thing as Manhattan, OH. There is Manhattan Beach in Cuyahoga county but not in Lucas county where Toledo is.

all else is updated.
