My husband and I are in the process of cleaning the lots and taking pictures of all the graves that have any information on them at the San Felipe Cemetery in Del Rio, Texas. As we do this we will put the pictures on this site. My husbands family is buried here and we have seen how bad the lots are because of there being no family members or the family's live so far away so we have taken it upon our self to try to help these people out. We will try to work on two to three lots a week as long as the weather permits. We do hope to get to some of the other cemeteries to take pictures.
You may use any pictures or information I have posted for your own personal use.
If you would like a memorial transferred to you please let me know and I will transfer it if they are part of your family.

Normally, I follow the rules of Find A Grave, strictly, but the photos helped. Enjoy.

New photos on the Guarnero Family
What a wonderful surprise! I want you to know that I am so grateful to be able to see the headstones of my relatives. I have been researching Salome Guarnero's family. He was my grandmother's brother and I have spent hours looking for documents and yet here you did the most important job. A big Thank You to you and your husband. Forever grateful!

You're welcome.
George was a good friend, I went to church with him for many, many years.

RE: Baby Christensen
Thank you so much for checking on this. Our family records show the gender as male, but since someone else put this child in as female, I wanted to try to verify the information. I may try to call the cemetery to see if their records show if this is a male or female. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

Baby Christensen
In the Hyrum, Cache, Utah, Veterans Memorial Cemetery is Memorial 133872070

We would like to find out if this child is listed as a boy or a girl.

Baby Christensen
Birth: Aug. 30, 1871
Hyrum,Cache County,Utah, USA

Death: Aug. 30, 1871
Hyrum,Cache County,Utah, USA

6th child of Niels and Dorthea Christine Johansen Christensen. It is our understanding that the mother died in childbirth and her death is listed as 1 September 1871. She is also buried in the Hyrum Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Shana Parker

Valhalla Photo Request
Hi, I saw your request for Andrew Christiansen's headstone photo. I take a lot of pics there, however, I only do volunteer photos if I either randomly come across the headstone or the person requesting it has the burial location. This particular cemetery is very unhelpful and pretty much won't give plot information to volunteers like me, so I've given up asking them. If, however, you call and ask for the plot location as a family member they should be able to give it to you, then you add it to the memorial and it makes it much easier for the volunteer to find. That is why this cemetery has so many unfulfilled requests. :(

Photo request for Candelaria Aguirre
Noticed your photo request. Just a little FYI, I have been unable to locate any burial records for the Catholic Sections before 1911.

I've been meaning to contact the Catholic Diocese to see if they have any information on Concordia burials before 1911. Thirty years of burials must be recorded somewhere.

I do have a gut instinct the general area in which to look though. The "Mexican Catholic" section is located in the southwest corner of the cemetery. Any additional information would be helpful.

Do you know for certain a marker was placed? Any description of the marker? Did the burial take place in a "family plot"?
