Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a descendant of Ferdinand and Agata Breimayer who emigrated from neighboring villages Andelfingen and Friedingen in the Biberach District of Wuerrtemberg in about 1854, married about 1857, settled with acquaintances and relatives in Freedom Twp, Washtenaw County, Michigan in 1859, moved to Otisco Twp, Ionia County in 1877, and are buried in St. Mary's Miriam Cemetery near Smyrna, Michigan, leaving eight offspring living at their deaths, most of whom are buried in the same cemetery. I have researched the family ancestry and descendants, and a summary appears on the Ferdinand Breimayer memorial 42883516 that I maintain. I grew up on a farm in Otisco Twp and then in Belding, Michigan and am now retired from my career as a patent attorney. I am interested in maintaining the Findagrave memorials for their descendants, many of whom are buried in the same cemetery or in nearby cemeteries in Belding and Smyrna, particularly, St. Joseph's Cemetery in Belding. I have photographs of most of the tombstones in these cemeteries.

Joe, did you find a birth record for her? I'm not comfortable changing the place of birth listed on her death record without a birth record documenting it. Thanks, Ann

RE: Breimayer genealogy
Hi Joe,
No I'm sorry I don't know of any nor am I a descendant. Must have been obituary information or grave hunting on my part.

RE: Francis & Lloyd Russell
I have made the transfers of Francis and Lloyd to you for maintenance. I wondered about the burial in Ellsworth Twp. also. I did the entire Valley Cemetery and made entries for every grave that I found, then tried to find and put in the death certificates where I could. You can find the death certificates for Michigan from 1897-1920 at Sometimes I have to be creative in searching for names because the transcription is not always accurate and sometimes the person may have died in a different county than they are buried in. If you check it out you will see what I mean.
Valley Cemetery is about 2 miles east of Luther on Old M-63. Ellsworth Cemetery is about 4 miles east of Luther on 3 Mile Rd.

Francis & Lloyd Russell
I recently started to document the graves in Valley Cemetery in Ellsworth Twp., Lake County, Michigan. I found and added the stones for both Francis and Lloyd E. Russell and the death certificates for Reva and Lloyd. I did not locate a death certificate for Francis. I can transfer maintenance on both of these memorials to you if you would like to have them. Just let me know.
This cemetery is very small, possibly 60-70 grave stones. There may be more burials in the cemetery but I found far fewer markers.

RE: Bridges-Breimayer family
Hi Joe, I would be very happy to make any additions or corrections that you have for the Bridges family. Please use the edit button for additions and corrections though, it makes it much easier for me to make the changes or additions promptly and accurately. Be sure to check back later this week as I will be adding more photos including a full family plot and family name stone photo. The sun was on the wrong side of the sky to get some of the photos that I wanted the other day when I was there and I will have to go back again in the early morning to get the shots. The Bridges family along with the Brush family (with whom they intermarried) are important early "pioneers" in the founding of our town. I read all of your work on the Breimayer pages--well done! I look forward to seeing anything you have to add to the Bridges memorials at Oakland.
