RE: Mapleview Cemetery Photos
You are very welcome.
I noticed a few of your requests went all the way back to 2012.
Thanks makes me even more happy to help out.
This was a special trip for me as it took me through Oakes, ND.
Oakes is my parents home town.
So, of course, it's always good to get back even if I am just driving through.
Thanks for the requests.
I'm happy I could help.

Peirce cemetery
How embarrassing! I just discovered I duplicated a bunch of your work. Using a cemetery survey I found online that was made in the 1930's I recorded the "Pierce Family Cemetery". I thought I had searched adequately to make sure I wasn't creating duplicates but apparently I wasn't thorough enough. I just discovered the surveyers had spelled the name incorrectly and that you had already entered the Peirce cemetery and have photographed it all as well!

As the survey I worked from was from awhile ago it seems to have a little bit of information that some of your records do not include. It also had an alternate name and the location of the cemetery which you may or may not wish to include.

Anyway, let me know when you have finished pulling any information you may wish to glean from the records I created. I will then delete my records to avoid confusion for those doing research.

Walter McGee
Do you have any idea where Walter McGee 1801-1899 is buried? I know every things says he died in Richmond but I can't figure out where he or his wife Sara were laid to rest.

Vickie Riley
Gallimore family
Hi cousin, My name is Vickie and I am also related to the Gallimore family. My grandmother was Lillian Geneva Gallimore Hutton who was the daughter of Ernest W. Gallimore. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. I had not seen the one of Wilson Riley Gallimore as a young man and also the one of Mary Frances Primm Gallimore's burial. My mom will be thrilled to see them. If you would like to keep in touch I can be reached at

At The Beginning
RE: John V. Prim
That's what I figured. I will try to find the grave in Wallsend. I will be honest though, it is almost abandoned and is entirely on the top of a mountain. It is close to 200 years old, and is overgrown badly, but is cleaned up from time to time. It might take me a while to find it, as anyone rarely goes up there. I will do my best.
