I do not any confirmed info on the name of her parents.

Sure, I'd be happy to go back for a shot of the back of the stone. It may be a few (several?) weeks though - because we've had nothing but dingy grey skies for a month. I like to shoot the markers when they look better on a sunny day. Better still the spring through fall. I'll put it on my "to do" list.

You'll have just as much luck locating it as I would--and if you do find it, you can post a Scan of it as a picture as so many other people do, despite it being against Find A Grave policy, due to Copyright issues with the newspapers. If you want, I could transfer him to you so that you could transcribe any obit you find directly into the Bio section.

Sorry, my info came from the obituary which has no pictures.
Since this is a recent death you might put in a photo request and hope a memorial is set by early summer.

Found him in 1870 census in Washington, Johnson Co, MO as Isaac Wappler. It has to be him as the rest of the family members match the 1860 census.

In reference to your message concerning his parents. The death certificate lists his parents as Rebecca Byerly born in IN and Daniel Wampler born in USA.
The death certificate is on www.sos.mo/gov/archives and he is listed as Isaac Wamplet in the index and the Certificate number is 6966.
Isaac Wampler's son John Wampler was married to Rose Coole, who was a distant relative of mine.

|Kayla Snyder||RE: Greene County Chapel Cemetery|
I received your message while I was on vacation for 3 weeks & am just getting back to EST. We had a 6 hour time change that messed us up for several days, but all is good now.
I don't know if you made any head way on contacting someone at the Greene County Cemetery in Indiana. I do have a few suggestions. Try the local church the cemetery is attached to - Greene County Chapel United Methodist Church. I don't have a phone # but you should be able to get one on line or through directory assistance.
There is an address on the Find A Grave page with a zip code. Someone must be receiving mail. If you click on the name of the cemetery, that should come up.
Another thing to try is to send a message to each person that has taken a photo and posted it for your family members. The names I am seeing on the Greene County Cemetery home page are: Donny Smith, Susan (Haldeman) Fowler & SixDogTeam. They all have photos on the home page, perhaps one of them knows how to contact someone updating the cemetery. Good Luck! Kayla (Winn) Snyder

I have never been there, sorry. I do not know if they even have a headstone.
