RE: Palandri grave markers
Yup, if you click on the pictures it makes them bigger so you can see that one stone is for the husband and one is for the wife.

Lloyd Alfred Willis
P.S. My mother passed away 25 Feb 2013 so we are in the phase of life which is transitioning to happier memories and as the verse of the day from Klove radio says today,

"There is a time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance.

~ Ecclesiastes 3:4, NLT

Be assured his memorial will be a fitting tribute to one who so faithfully served his country during WWII in Italy.

Blessings,

Janice

Hi Bob,

If you will recall we talked and emailed quite a number of years ago. I have photographs of Lloyd's graves as well as others in the family. Feel free to use the email and/or message me on my profile page :-) Our family tree has become quite extensive and Paul is finally getting interested in it. I just posted Lloyd's army photograph. I have others to add i.e. his bronze star for service and a commendation letter with medals attached. I will be adding these. Paul and my daughter were out there and have some really fantastic grave shots--they cleaned off the stone, cut the grass and added flowers etc. I'm glad I just checked this out!!! Keep in touch. This is great! I ran across all the docs you had sent me and am incorporating them into my Ancestry tree and now have to add them to Find A Grave. We shall create a proper memorial. I have his enlistment papers into the Army with all documentation sooo bear with me and let me know about anything else you would like to either share and or receive :-)
Respectfully,

Janice P. Willis

No wife, she would be on the same stone.

RE: Davis marker in Kaneville
You are very welcome. I understand about not getting pictures. I'm not originally from this area and I do enjoy photography, plus I am into genealogy and I enjoy wandering through cemeteries wondering about the lives of those buried there. So many stories they could tell! Where did you move to?
