Page Stambaugh here ... I am in Canton Michigan. My mother was always a genealogy buff -- nothing formal but knew history, dates and told the stories proud of her heritage. I was always fascinated and wanted more 'momma' ... late in her life we started to write the dates DOWN! Thank goodness she had that foresight.|
She didn't get back too far but enough that I could connect some important pieces ... as the yrs went by I let it alone for a while ... oh 10 yrs or so ... but back at it again ... and wow what a difference in the internet finds!
I am grateful to the people who have added many of my family members to this site with a snap of a picture! Thank you for transferring the memorials over to me -- Kowdung, Robert Stanley Orrell, Sam Lindsay MSgt USMC Ret.
I seem to be the only 'family' at this point interested the memorials I am managing but ... if you stumble across a connection to the memorials I am managing send me an e-mail -- I wouldn't mind sharing or transferring.

Hi Page. I emailed you but haven't heard back, so I don't know if that email is good still. Let me know - the message was long and it wouldn't be great to paste it here, I don't think. One thing different is that I did find more about the family line, so that's good, but it's not based on documents. Anyway, I'm trying to finish an article about Lucius and his property in Port Huron, so if you could possible share anything more than what is on the memorials that'd be terrific. If you have contact information for any descendants that might have any photos or anything else, that would also be very terrific. I will submit a photographic image of a obituary for Lucius that I just recently found. Thanks! (PS - I really don't want to give my email out on these public pages. I'm having real problems with my personal email now because of things like this. So, if you don't see my email I already sent to you, we can figure something out. My webpage has a contact form, for instance. Thanks again!)

I am researching my sister-in-law's family and am wondering if you can fill in any more information for me. The line goes
; Meredith Hill, her father Frederick Hill, his parents Mary (Maria)Ordowsky Herring and John Herring (name seems to go from Heering to Herring. Any additional information further back would be most appreciated.
|Emily K||Thank you!|
