Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born, raised and still live in Pueblo, CO. Retired in 2009, after 37 years of managing the construction of many roads and bridges. During the summers of 2011 and 2012, I had the opportunity to "chase my roots" in NE Kansas (2011 & 2012), southern Iowa (2012) and southern Missouri (2012).

Family names I am researching: Fitzsimmons, Riggs, Sherman, Ruick, Townley, Larabee, Tucker, Finnicum, Failor, Scott, McGuire, Conwell, Carpenter, Coe, Prudden, Kegley and others.

Thus far, all of the memorials I have created or manage are family.

RE: # 24234870 sent me an email saying actual pics of the obits are against company policy and I need to take all of them down that I posted (500!). So I deleted obits that others have typed into the Memorial area and now trying to type all the others before I delete them. I have just under 300 left. My guess is someone complained because there are numerous obits posted by others and many other people had no idea either.

I took pix of these headstones. There are numerous stones marking graves with nothing on them or unreadable markings. I walked the entire cemetery hoping to find it for you. Sorry I didn't.

Charles H. Sherman
You are welcome for the photos, always glad to add a photo to a memorial page.

Yes, you have my permission to use the photos of Charles H. Sherman at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Please use this line:

Thank you very much for being considerate in asking if you could use the photos.

RE: William Curbow

I did a search with the city records for William F. with no last name and found where his tombstone is located. Once I actually get the photo of the stone to get the spelling off of it, I can request that the city correct their records if it is an error on their part. If not then you have a variation of this last name to add to your family treelol.

William F. Carbow
Section: Park B
Lot: 35 & 36
Graves: 123, & 1
Interment date: 17 Aug 1940

With this being Labor Day weekend, cemeteries have a tendency to be busy but I will try to go out this next week and get the photo now that I know where to begin looking.

Having a starting place to begin searching is a key in a huge cemetery but like in the past, if he is there I will find him. It just may take me a little bit of time.

RE: William Curbow
Well if he is related to the stones I found for you before then there is a strong possibility that he might be close to those stone. Since I know where those are, I would start looking at that point and work outward.

Is there any other possible spelling that have been used by his ancestors? He maybe listed in the city records if there is a different spelling.

I will go look when it isn't so close to 100 degrees here.

I will keep you up-to-date if I find anything.

William Curbow

I accidentally selected the wrong problem code. I wanted it left on the list because he is probably there but it is going to take time to find the memorial. I just wanted you and other volunteers to know that it is not an actual burial.

Can you resubmit the photo request and I will get the correct code this time? That way when cool weather hits, I can go walking around for him. If it isn't on the list, I will forget it.

Thanks & my apologies,
