RE: Addie Jarman Padrick
I hope I am doing my virtual sites right! I am getting lots of info here and this is only way I can keep up. You would let me know if I am duplicating, or stepping on someone's toes? Thanks for the heads up. Sheila

Aman Family Cemetery

Could you tell me where the Aman Family Cemetery in Onslow County is located?

I would like to get it photographed so that I can add it to my genealogy site.

Thanks in advance!

Rebecca, My grandfather David James Hobbs Sr and John W. Sanders were half brothers. I know my grandfather is buried in Florida and I see that there is now a stone for John W. Sanders and his wife Sallie in the Salem Cemetery. When I contacted John's daughter Lizer or Liza Capps she said he was buried in that cemetery but when we looked for the grave we could not locate it. Could you please tell me where the grave is located in regards to the church, I know there is a big part of the cemetery across the road from the church. Also it is my understanding that my greatgrandparents may also be buried in this cemetery and that would be on the Hobbs side. Do you have any knowledge of a Hobbs gravesite? I am currently looking to locate a Sanders or Capps connection in the Sneads Ferry area to help maybe put the pieces of the family together. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. You can also contact me at Thank you, Beverly Miller

Rebecca: You are welcome. These graves are visited, respected, flowers changed etc. Nice that there is someone here to do that. The sun was at an angle such that I had to take the photos as I did. Happy to help. Barb

Sorry, should have addressed the last note to Rebecca, not Mary! It's too early in the morning!

Mary, Thanks for the kind words. Don't know if you noticed but I added another wider shot of Mary Mann too. She has a similar site next to Perham. Didn't know for sure if they were married since they weren't linked but thought it might be helpful.
