I was born and reared in the Handley area (east side of Fort Worth) in Texas. I was in the last graduating class of Handley High School (1959)-- https://sites.google.com/site/handleyhigh, the third graduating class of Arlington State College (B.S. in Mathematics, 1963), Texas Christian University (M.S. in Mathematics, 1967), and the University of Northern Colorado (M.A. in Management, 1974).|
I lived for about 35 years in Fredericksburg, VA where I was employed as a mathematician, computer scientist, and systems engineer until I retired in December 2004.

Hi, saw that you were taking care of Drury's site. I'm the 3 great granddaughter of Samuel and Nancy Shaw Dunaway. 2 GGD of Thomas Paul and Catherine Justice Dunaway, 1 GGD of John Isacc Newton Dunaway (don't know my grandpapa's mother's name) and granddaughter of Jesse Herman Dunaway, who was raised in Missouri.
Do you have any information regarding Thomas and Catherine who moved to Missouri with several of the siblings?
|Gay Hockman||Radford Jiles Tidwell's wife ?|
According to the 1860 thru 1900 census Martha A. was his wife. I found no mention of Lydia except a marriage record with no image. Some list their marriage as 1864 and some say she died on that date. Some old marriage records are a pre marriage contract. Can you provide proof of this marriage? I found a marriage record for Radford and Martha dating 1866 but she is on the 1860 census with small children. Help!!
I also forgot to ask, do you know how many children that Radford Jiles and Lydia Elizabeth had and any info about them except the ones listed on Lydia's memorial # 116110532
I know we are some sort of cousin. Radford Jiles and Martha A. Holmes Tidwell were my Great Great Great Uncle and Aunt. I am researching the Tidwell family and had a question. Do your have any more info about the death of Lydia Elizabeth Lamb Tidwell. On Facebook it gives her death in 1864, some researchers have said she died in childbirth and her last child, Early Lorenzo Tidwell was born in 1863 in Missouri. Find A Grave says she died in 1864 in Hood County, Texas. Some researchers say that Radford Jiles and Martha A. Holmes married in 1864. Can you help clear some of this up. If you prefer you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I am also on facebook with a lot of other Tidwell cousins. Hope you have better info than I do.
Thanks so much;
