Sir . Storie is what all fentress Co., TN stories were known as Josusa storie always spelled his name with an ie. The Pickett County story's were orginally Storer as is spelled in robert
edward Storer Rev.war record. The name was spelled Story in the old Rolen Story bible and was spelled that way in records up until some of the family moved away and they changed it to Storie and then aftersome went to TTU they changed it to Storie. This is just an recent occurrence. They spell it both ways it the present telephone directory.

The Fentress county Stories is no relation to the Pickett Co. Story the Fentress ones came from NC and the Pickett group came from Campbell co. VA.

I have ancestors from both groups.

Elmerf E Truitt, Sr.1894-1968
Is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery NOT Greenwood Memorial# 78069871. I can't find him in the GREENWOOD records, nor his wife Myrtle R. Gasaway Truitt.# 67861646, I am sorry, but I think they need to be deleted.

Union Chapel North Cemetery aka Morris Cemetery
Hi Bob,
It has been a long time since I have been able to check any of the Find A Grave memorials. Just cruzin' for a few minutes and saw that I am on your friends list. I can put you on mine now. I surly did appreciate all you did to help get the cemetery name straightened out. Thanks again! I would really like to visit there someday and try to find more headstones. Regards, Jacque Brandau
