Ephraim Dunten
Lots of Dunten but no Ephraim.
Most of the Dunten stones had empty space next to them.
The two memorials are duplicates. Unfortunately, there is a lot of that in Allen County, and quite often one of them has an incorrect date of death and/or birth.

John W. Strickler
Thank you for your info on John W. Strickler. He is related to me through his mother - he was my great-great-grandfather's first cousin. I am working on a biography about him and found your info.

RE: E. Dunten
Yes, the unmarked graves are in the Huntertown Cemetery (old). There are many Duntens buried at this cemetery. Let me know if I can be of further help.
Thanks and glad i could help your search.

E. Dunten
This is inregards to your request at the Huntertown, IN cemetery. Although i did not claim it i agree the stone cannot be found. I researched another local resource and found the following info for this cemetery:
Dunten, E.H. Sr. died 1866 aged 86 y. 6m. 12.
(no stone found DAR reading 1932)

Also---
Dunten Abigail, wife of E.H. Dunten d 1863 aged 78; (no stone found DAR reading 1932)

I don't know if Abigail matches E.H Sr but included it anyway.
Hope this helps.
Bill

Sorry I sent before I wanted to. Here we go again.

Unfortunately I live in the State of Washington so I can't take a photo of the tombstone but if you click on photo request on the cemetery there may be someone who would take it for you. I took my Herrold photos one year when I was in Nebraska.

I don't know what to do about the middle initial and the death date due to the cemetery records, however if you are sure, I will change them.

Do you know where they were born, died and married? I could put that too.
