Bio Photo Finding ancestors has always been intriguing to me. I appreciate all the hard work of those who previously lived and their endeavors to provide for family. I believe when ones heart appreciates previous generations the path of life becomes filled with wonder and joy while we walk facing the future.

Garland Key - # 35039786
I was contacted to enter a cemetery in Henry Co called "Garland Key Cemetery" which is where he is actually buried and not "Key Cemetery". The Garland Key Cem is in the North part of Henry Co and he has constructed & installed a sign for the cemetery. He sent me a photo of the sign and it is a very nice cemetery marker. And plans to buy a stone for Garland since there is only one stone in the Cemetery for a Key child and other sandstones.
This man is the GG grandson of Garland Washington Key. and says the personal photo posted is not Garland but does have a photo of Garland & Frances. And that the funeral home marker shown in the grave photo is there not at Key Cemetery which is off of Reynoldsburg Rd south part of the county.

I would appreciate you to contact me concerning Garland before I add any new information to Find-A-Grave since you already have a lot of great information in your memorial.
My Email is If you would write me a Email then I could call you and discuss this.

Thanks so much,
Susan Stewart, Paris, TN

John Spurgeon's Tomstone Vandalized
Sometime around 3 July, John's tombstone was broken in half, the top half also shattered around the edge and was split in half. I am attempting to contact a local monument company to have the stone repaired if possible, cleaned and re-engraved. His wife's tombstone was not damaged.
Best regards,
Pat Kelly
John's 6th great grandson

Beautiful picture you have placed on this memorial page. Would you share where it was taken? I live in the area and it reminds me of a section of Hwy 33 leading to Louisa. Thanks,

The entry creator, in 2009 indicates, "Burial: Unknown".

In 2011 you uploaded the two photos of a grave site. Could you please indicate approximately where that grave site is located?
At least what State, County or nearest incorporated city?
