Born to southern parents from Alabama and West Florida. My father enlisted in the Navy and we made 8 moves before I was 16yo.

I love to hike. Backpacked the entire AT in 1989.
Met my wife who is from CT while hiking on the AT in 1990.

Now I live with the Yankees in the nutmeg state.
Spend most of my time fixing up my wife's family home built by her GGFather in 1876.

I have also been a Scoutmaster for the BSA here in Connecticut for the past 10 years, which takes a lot of my time too.

None of us are getting out of this alive. It sure has been fun finding out where some of the bodies are buried.

Find A Grave: What a great concept. I have really enjoyed the time I have spent on this site. It's nice to be able to see photos of gravestones that are real and are a memorial to our ancestors.
