I am currently researching my family history and was very excited on a recent trip to Iowa where I found many family members in the local town cemetery. Now back at home in California, I want to keep up my research but also help others with research if I can. I live near a very old, still active cemetery in Byron, CA. so realize I could help others find lost loved ones. I travel all over the states too, so hope to discover more!|

I took a picture of her headstone and there is no death year on the stone. I have no proof that this person is deceased. Just because Genie Lady added a memorial is not proof. She has added other memorials of people who are not deceased. I hope you know whether this person is deceased or not. I do not want to add the photo of the headstone until I hear back from you.

Hi Kim. This is just to let you know that this person may not be who you are looking for. The name is misspelled on the memorial; it should be Edward Wearne. The contributor known as "Shiver" used a website that was riddled with errors to create memorials on Find A Grave. She did not check them against the cemetery records, and as a result, we volunteers have had quite a time over the years getting it sorted out. Whenever we notice these errors, we send SACs. Unfortunately, in the 5 years I've been on this site, Shiver has never responded and I've always had to go through the site Administrators to get corrections made.
Anyway, there are Wearne family members buried all around him and I've created memorials for them.
If this person was not your family member, perhaps this information will help someone else, someday.

Thanks for getting back to me on the memorial. Can you fill in the dates and place of birth and death, can you help me connect him to his parents. Know any siblings we can connect him to, What is the name of his children.
Is there any thing you can include in his bio?
all information appreiated
