Dear relations do not weep
I am not dead but yet do sleep
And here my body shall remain
Until we all shall meet again

interesting quote from a obit:

Now, his well-known and active form is shrouded, coffined, entombedócold, still, and wakeless in death, and silent in the grave.

Anne Motiff
You recently created a memorial for Anne Motiff at Mount Calvary Cemetery #182038028. The cemetery does not have her buried there. Can you please provide me with the information that you have that says she is buried there? Do you have an obituary for her? Are you related to her?

Please respond so we can clear this up.

RE: George Andrews #83553518
It only proves his mother had the same name. You have it linked to the wrong Mary Carmichael Andrews. That's what I've been trying to point out, that having the same name doesn't prove it's the same person.

The Mary Carmichael Andrews I'm related to, had a daughter named Agnes Wylie Andrews, which is in the same grave online. In the census records of 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930, that John Andrews and Mary Carmichael Andrews are in, residing in Philadelphia, there is never a mention of the name George. Only mention of 3 children - Samuel, Agnes and Elizabeth. I have links to the census records on Ancestry on my family tree, that are linked to John and Mary Andrews.

I have pictures of the 3 Andrews children, with one son named Samuel. My great Aunt wrote their names down on many pictures. She even wrote up a family information and never listed a George. She only listed the 3 children mentioned above.

John Andrews and Mary Carmichael never lived anywhere else in the US except Philadelphia. She was from Kilrea Ireland.

My great-Aunt personally knew this family.

I'm just trying to give you a correction in which your George Andrews is linked to the wrong Mary Carmichael Andrews, this grave is not his Mother.

Thanks.

George Andrews #83553518
Will you please post the documentation you have that George Andrews is the son of Mary Carmichael Andrews that you have linked in his grave. I believe you are incorrect and have linked this Mary Carmichael Andrews who is the wrong person. I believe they only have the same name, but the grave you have linked is not your Mary Carmichael Andrews.

My grandfather was the nephew of Mary Carmichael Andrews originally of Ireland. Mary married John Andrews in Philadelphia and they only had 3 children - Samuel, Agnes and Elizabeth.

If you look at their 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 census in Philadelphia of John Andrews and Mary Andrews, there is no mention of a George, just these 3 children named Samuel, Agnes and Elizabeth.

The couple you have linked as his parents never lived in Harrisburg. They may have the same maiden name, but

My Great Aunt (the niece of Mary Carmichael Andrews and first cousin of Samuel, Agnes and Elizabeth), knew them personally. She had pictures of their children - only 3 children, and only one son named Samuel. She wrote down her Mother and her siblings and their children's names. There was never any mention of a 4th child by her Aunt Mary Carmichael Andrews.

I believe you have the wrong Mary Carmichael Andrews. This grave is the daughter of Samuel Carmichael and Elizabeth Patton of Kilrea Ireland.

Wives of Charles F Bowers
Hi Ron,
My great grandmother, Mary Rooney, was briefly married to Charles F Bowers, from 1896 to 1900. Both are buried in Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore City. They share a grave stone. The name in FindAGrave is showing as Mary Philomena Bowers, who was Charles's first wife. She is also buried in Loudon Park, but she died in 1895, so her information is not what is on the grave stone shared with Charles Bowers. She has a separate grave marker. Confusing that he married two Mary's! Can you please show the 1857-1918 life span as Mary Rooney? I don't know Mary P Bower's birth year.
Thank you for all of your efforts in making this information available to our families.
Thank you,
Marsha Rooney Schoeberlein

83553518 - George Andrews
I just wanted to let you know that you have the incorrect mother for George Andrews. Mary Carmichael Andrews is not his mother. I have pictures of her 3 children - Agnes, Elizabeth and Samuel. Her niece never mentioned any other children.

Do you have any paperwork or birth certificate, baptism that lists this is his mother?

Thanks.
