RE: Mindel Pfeffer's Headstone
Hey, you can be one of my specials.
I took the trolley to elemtery school in New Haven. St. Louis on Chaple St. Now you know.
Hugs from an old Ct. Yankee.

RE: Mindel Pfeffer's Headstone
Hi there.
I passed Oakland twice yesterday and the other day. There are a couple of volunteers that jump on most of the requests there. I saw you request and notes on Oakland and almost stopped, but did not want to step on toes.
I am going in for surgery tomorrow and will be able to get them for you later in the week. That is really a nice cemetery, but parking is a problem over there sometimes.
I'm an old East Haven boy. Graduated HS in West Haven 60 years ago. Ugh.
See ya, Buddy B.

RE: Mindel Pfeffer's Headstone
You are " Very Welcome". I love doing those. When I saw your note I had to find it. I went there for a friend and I love the Jewish headstones since I found out about the Hebrew writings on the reverse side. I did two whole, very small, cemeteries in my home town in Ct. because my cousin's husband had relatives buried there and asked me to do his family tree. It has been so interesting for sure.
Well, Happy Researching, and if I can do something here similar for you please do not hesitate to give me a nudge. Bud

A Pfeffers headstone
Hi Lisa! I went over to Oakland Cemetery today and with the help of the sextant of the cemetery we located Block J-5 Section 16. The only headstone I located with that name was of Molka Pfeffer. Dec- 23-18?? to may 27th 1923. I know this doesn't help much! If you need me to send you those pics I do have email me at

She wandered into the cemetery I was taking photos in. She was good company. I had 2 black cats. I miss them.
