Is he your Great Great Grandfather?

Census records indicate PA as his birthplace. 1860 states that his mother was born in PA. I did not see one census record that stated Ohio or Germany.
Hi Bonnie -
Please forgive my delayed reply to your question! The names you mention are not familiar to me, but it's likely that there's a connection.
Anna Storr (b 1837 d. 1872) is buried in the same cemetery as Karl Storr (b. 1832 d. 1891) in Honesdale. We don't have her maiden name, but based on your sharing, there seems to have been a cluster of Storrs in that area.
I have some information on my other computer about where in Germany this line of Storrs came from if that would be useful to you. Just let me know!
|A M P||Surname Honan-Kenney|
I am so sorry, I have never come across the surname Honan and the only Kenney, I found in my research is for a John J Kenney 1944-2005 in St Catherine Cemetery in Moscow, PA. There are many cemeteries in the Scranton area. If you do research on Ancestry.com, keep in mind, that there are many error's, the surname could be misspelled. If you know their christian faith,maybe if could lead you to where the boys were placed (Orphnage)In the meantime I have placed these two surnames on a list that I keep. If I come across any information, I will pass it on to you. Don't give up

I don't recognize the names you mentioned, John and Dolly McCormick, but I will look through the info I have on George in my family tree and will let you know if I find anything. I have found alot of valuable info in George Hamid, Sr's book 'Circus', which I was able to purchase on ebay for a few dollars. Are you talking about George Sr., or George Jr., or George III? Pam
