findagrave memorial # 25319606
we are moving all memorials from McCrory Cemetery in Copiah to Dixon Cemetery in Claiborne County because we just found out that it is indeed in 350 ft. inside Claiborne County and not in Copiah County. please go to this memorial and click on edit and choose burial info and change cemetery to Dixon Cemetery.

|Suzy & Rob||RE: A question|
There is no daughter named Mathilda on the 1880 census but since she would have been 21 at that time, she may very well have already married. There is a daughter named Mattie on the 1870 census who was born about 1858. It may be that this is the daughter you are looking for. Mattie could be a nickname for Mathilda.
You might try searching for the family at familysearch.org which is a free genealogy site run by the LDS church. They have access to census and many other records.
|Suzy & Rob||RE: Sallie Morse Johnson|
Sallie and her brothers, Preston and Elijah, are found on the 1880 census living with their parents, E.J. and E.A. Morse in Brandywine, Clairborne County, Mississippi. E.J.'s year of birth on the census is about 1827. It would appear that this is the correct family. However, if you do not feel that it is, please let me know and I will delete the link to Jackson Morse.
