Another new picture - at Fairmount.

Thought you might like to know his stone came in recently and there is a picture on his memorial page. Ruth
|Ruth Smith||RE: Bodenstein Infant|
Don't know the name of the Bodenstein infant - Brenda Joyce made those memorial pages and they do not check out with the list that the pastor's wife at Zion gave me. Another problem is Jackerline - she has this baby born Sept 1, 1892 and died Dc. 20, 1892 and the "twin" was born and died Sept 1, 1892. That is possible and maybe Jackerline lived a few months longer than the other infant. But my list doesn't have another infant in the Bodenstein family. Another mystery is she has Jackerline buried in row 6 and the infant buried in row 20. i wonder if she got her information from the book they published? She is hard to communicate with - no way to leave her a message. The only way I have "spoken" to her is by clicking on "edit" and leaving a question. She does get back to me sometimes.
let me know if I can help. Ruth
|Ruth Smith||Bodenstein Infant|
Gail: We went back one more time to Zion Cemetery and tried to complete all the lists of pictures needed. Still did not find Infant Bodenstein but took a picture of the area where babies are buried. I could also put a picture of his twin if you would like - don't know why they were not buried together or maybe they did not pass at the same time? The Zion Church records do not have an infant listed. Ruth

Guess what? I found her grave today. She is buried in the middle section called "B" section - not too far from William Hennecke. Ruth
|Ruth Smith||Janet Hurley request|
Hi Gail - it's been a while huh? Just got a message from Mr. Jim at the city cemetery office and he said the inurnment for Janet Hurley has not taken place - don't know any more because she passed away June 2015? But hopefully when they place her monument we can take a picture. Jim is sending me pictures now of new burials and it is such a help.
Hope you are well. Ruth
|Mary E Brothers-Johnson||Diana Smith|
Located Diana's headstone, she shared it with her husband, John Henry. They had her listed under her husband's name. The database will show she has a headstone. ENJOY

|Mary E Brothers-Johnson||Diane Smith|
Went to Evergreen Memorial Cemetery office to locate Diane's grave site, was told she was not in the cemetery's database. Could she have been buried under another name?
Gail: Guess what? I just got a message from a man who is sharing the load of photographing graves at Cape County memorial Park and he said he went in the office there and the secretary retired. It is now being run by the man in charge of maintenance and he gave him a map, and pointed out the direction for graves he was going to photograph. Thought you would like to know this. I told him he "made my day". Ruth
You requested a photo for Stephan Grant Rickard from New St. Marcus Cemetery in St. Louis. If you could call the cemetery and request the location of the grave, I will take a photo for you. They don't like to look these things up for non-relatives like me. I have access to the cemetery records on microfilm at the St. Louis County Library but they stop at 2001. This burial is after that. Let me know if you are successful.
