Lucina Downing Eichorn
Hi Carol.
I was sure I had Charles and Lydia already memorialized, and I should have checked. They are now in there twice. I put them both in Find A Grave in 2005. But like most of the work I did in the Hillside in Natural Bridge, they got moved to Hillside in West Carthage. So I have moved them back where they belong in Natural Bridge. You have no idea how much work was transferred without my knowledge. It was very frustrating. Hopefully the other person could delete his memorials for them. Anyway, thank you so much for getting back to me. Take care and have a wonderful day.

Hi Carol,
Could you please link Lucina ( 11102583 ) to Charles and Lydia Downing. Lucina is my grandmother and Charles and Lydia are her parents, so that makes them my great grandparents. I would appreciate it if you could. Thanks, Jean

RE: Gerald & June Schermerhorn
I looked at both the memorial numbers. I had originally put them in in 2006 in the proper cemetery. It was after that they got changed to wrong cemetery. Whoever contributed them again back in 2015 put them back in their proper place ( thank goodness) so that is why different memorial numbers. I am going to delete mine.

Take care and have a good day.

RE: Gerald & June Schermerhorn
Hi, actually I had them correctly in the right cemetery in Natural Bridge until someone from Find A Grave or another contributor decided that all my hard work needed to be sent to the Hillside Cemetery in West Carthage. You can imagine my horror when I discovered this. I sent an email to Find A Grave with no help. Other then doing that whole cemetery over again I have no other option. Hillside in Natural Bridge is in 2 counties, Lewis and Jefferson, therefore the confusion. I will be happy to fix your requests.
Thank You,

RE: Jeanette's siblings
Her son, my step-grandfather, tried all his life to find out what happened to her. No one would tell him. He was raised by the Mealus family. I remember Uncle Bill & Uncle John Mealus. We used to go to the Mealus family reunion held in the park in Carthage, NY
I had an inkling that she was in the mental hospital. Later when researching her, I found her listed as an inmate of Ogdensburg State Hosp. No record of why she was there nor when she died.

I'll have to look at it. Who is your grandmother? Technicially, I am a step-relative as my step-grampa (whom I loved dearly), Francis Eugene Coloney's mother was a Mealus. Her name was Mary & she died at the Ogdensburg State hospital. But let me see what I have that may help you. Charlotte
