RE: Sarah Stiles
Yes, I submitted Sarah Stiles' obituary as a suggested edit to the memorial. I think you're supposed to approve it.

Frank Carrier
Hi Betty,
I think why the 0ther people could not find a David Carrier is that the only stone there that had Carrier on it had Frank Carrier. And the death date I wasn't to sure on. So I thought this might be a brother at first. But then also thought that the name could of been his middle name & had gone by that. Who knows. But I think you have now what your were looking for. Look at the site I will give you the address of & you will see Frank Carrier tombstone pictured using the negative so that the letters & such are clearer. This is when the geneological society decided to move the markers to Holy Cross Cemetry as they were being vandalized at the old catholic cemetry. Look at the memorial that you wrote on this person to make sure of name & dates. Not sure with what is right. Here is the address of the tombstones that came from the Old Catholic Cemetry.

All the best,

David Carrier
I too, looked for this name at the Holy Cross cemtetry & came across Frank Carrier. It is pictured with the name Old Catholic Cemetry lablel on his Memorial where he is located with all other listed of the stones that they had found. There picture turned out better as I think that is a negative. The tombstone was so full of moss that some parts were hard to read. I thought the year for death looked like 1887, but they have different as you can see in the negative. I still took a photo of it if you want to see it. I thought maybe the name was wrong or a middle name used.? Trace

Sharon Eckenrode
Eckenrode burial
Ms. Bellous,

I recently ran across an entry that you made for St. Joseph Cemetery in Somerset, Perry, Ohio. It was Eckenrode(no first name) age 5. Died Nov 24, 1840. Was there a name but it was not legible or was it just Eckenrode. My great grandfather was John Eckenrode and he lived in Perry County at this time. It is possible this may have been a daughter of his. Were there any other graves with the name Eckenrode. I know of two wives he had. Possibly, this child may have been from another wife. Any help would be appreciated.

Maud Bennett
Hello. I got your message about Maud's burial date being 5 Jan 1892. When I wrote that her gravestone seems to say what I had there, it was really because the numbers for the months and days are not clear. The rest of it is fairly readable, and I feel that I should keep the date that's on the stone, 24 July 1894. It's definitely not January, and the year doesn't look like 1892 either. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Susan Quigley Fitzgerald
I received your suggestion for Susan Fitzgerald's birth date. I am hesitant to change it on the memorial despite what is shown on the headstone as all my sources so far have indicated she was born two years earlier than inscribed on the headstone. If you have evidence otherwise I'd be happy to review it.
