|Popeye||Missouria Brown in Evergreen|
Hi Caron, I checked the Brown plot in section E-south and Missouria is not visible there. The only folks in this plot are: Florence R. Ray, Nola Brown, Thomas E. Brown, and Charlie H. Brown. There is space for a couple more burials, however, there are no other visible stones other than those above. Good luck.

Dear Ms. Lambert,
Elizabeth Jarrard was born Elizabeth Barbee in Grant (Smith Co.) TN. She was a daughter of John & Elizabeth Newby Barbee. She was never married before she was wed to James A. Jarrard. He was, however, previously married (to Permelia J. Bates)and had two children by her before she died. He married Elizabeth in Grant, TN, on 10 Dec 1872. She was one of 14 children and named for her mother. There was no Washington Green Barbee in this area. James Jarrard was from Georgia, served in the 24th Georgia Infantry as a Captain, and came to Smith Co., Tn, in 1866. He owned a large farm, sold it in 1881, and moved to Logan County, AK, in 1881.
