RE: Jennie Culwell King
I found it curious that Danny was buried with Carl and wondered why it was like that. I have Crate's death certificate but we cannot find when Jennie died. I can't find anything on her death not even an obit, if I had something to go on about her death I might be able to find something but no one seems to know when she died. I am assuming she was still living in Ky when she died and didn't come to OH to stay with family but that still did not help me find anything on her. My Grandfather, Jennie's brother, said they came from a family of 16 but I have only found 11 children. When he came to OH he lost contact with almost all of his sibling's except for Harrison, my Mom called him "Uncle Hop" and his brother Langley kept in touch but none of the other's did, Dennis on occasion but he and my Grandfather had words when their Mother was dying so their relationship was never the same. Do you remember anything about the daughter Erma of Jennie & Crate's? They had a son named Hershel who died as a baby he is suppose to be in the cemetery with them. I have not located this cemetery on either of the times I went to Ky yet there is suppose to be several of our family buried there and like I had said someone sent me pictures long ago of stones but they are not readable the pictures are very very blurry and dates are hard to read. Please do send me your email I can send you some thing's on the tree if you want. I can also invite you to view our family tree on if you would like. I have been working on it since 1994, made some enemies of our cousins along the way but the journey has been great! Take Care and I hope to hear from you again. Oh one more thing, do you know of anyone who has any photos of Jennie? I would like to get one of her and Crate and their children to add to the tree, we have never seen any of them before My Aunt kept in touch with Richard from time to time but that's about it. Thanks.

RE: Jennie Culwell King
Well we know that Orville was born 8-2-1923 in Johnson Co.Ky from a birth recording there and he died February 1983 in Florida, he was supposedly married at one time and had several children but I was told none of them wanted anything to do with him so I am really not sure about his line. Do you know why Danny J Thompson was buried beside Carl King? Currently I am trying to find out the cemetery that Crate and Jennie is buried in. They had a son Hershel who died as a baby that is also suppose to be buried there along with several members of the Culwell line. I will be sure to let you know of anything I find. Take Care, Schannon

RE: Jennie Culwell King
I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss my heart goes out to you and wish you nothing but peace and happiness. I would love to keep in touch with you and maybe when thing's are better for could help me fill in your family line and that of your siblings so the tree is a little more complete. Jennie has been a brick wall for us for a very long time. Someone years ago sent me a grave photo for her but it is very blurry and the dates cannot be read, they said she was buried in a cemetery with her parents and some siblings along with her husband Crate and her son from her first marriage Orville Stambaugh but no one seems to know the actual name of the cemetery and they call it Kerz, according to Johnson Co.Ky there is no KERZ cemetery but there are several cemeteries around Kerz, that was no help to me LOL. But as I said Bless you and your family and maybe when thing's are better for you, you will feel like contacting me to help fill in some branches. My email is a weird one but it is you can contact anytime you like. You take care and hugs to you and your family.

Jennie Culwell King
Hello. I was wondering if you might be able to help me. My Grandfather was Charlie Culwell and his sister was Jennie Culwell who married Crate King. I was wondering if you know when and where she passed away, I have next to nothing on her except she married twice and had several children. I am also looking for photos of her and her family to add to the Culwell tree, if you can help out in anyway I would appreciate it. I have been researching the Culwell line for a long time and her line is one of my brick walls. Thank you for your time. Schannon
