Bio and Links
Bio Photo In 1999 I began the longtime task of searching out my family history. So many people have contributed to my family tree, I cannot thank all of you enough. Find a Grave is a key part of identifying our ancestors, their history, and who we are. I find it so very rewarding to put a face, a story, and a family with those that have passed before us. Through our combined efforts, those buried can be known, and they're not just another stone among a row of stones.

Your Mothers Grave Marker.
J Winstead;

I was from Portland, Oregon and lived in LaPine from 1988 until 2009, then in 2007 I surveyed the LaPine Cemetery as much as my health would allow, I am sure that I missed some stones but hope that what I did do was helpful to you and others. I have a the pictures on my hard drive if you need anything from that cemetery.

Thanks for the kind words. The info I added was from the cemetery. The brother and sister info, other than what I added was supplied by other Findagrave members. If you would like to have me transfer your great grandfather and great grandmother to you, just let me know, regards

RE: Josephine Christensen Larson
Do you want me to just crop out that tombstone in the photo and upload the photo of the plain plot? That is the corresponding plot number to where she is buried. Let me know. Otherwise, I'll delete it and add no other photo.

RE: Josephine Christensen Larson
Oh wait a minute. No, I see the memorial now. I wasn't posting the photo of his stone per say, but that the blank spot next to Joseph's stone is her plot. I am showing that she has no stone and that she is located next to Joseph, regardless of if he is related. =) Any time someone wants a photo of a plot that has no stone, they always ask to see what stones are around it, that's why I uploaded that photo. Is that okay?

RE: Josephine Christensen Larson
Sure! Could you send me the memorial # to the memorial so that I can delete that photo? I can't remember which of the cemeteries that was in, but I do remember talking to you all about it. =)

Josephine Larson - Mission City

I fulfilled your photo request today. However, there is no stone for Josephine - only a stone for her husband, James. I uploaded a photo of the unmarked plot next to James' stone so you could see what I mean. I also made a memorial for James. If you would like me to transfer it to you, let me know. Here is his memorial:

By the way, Josephine was born on 12/25/1863 and died 12/14/1943 in Marin County, CA. Also, her middle initial is D.

It is possible that Josephine, at some point, did have a stone and that it was vandalized/destroyed, since there are many plots in this area where the stones have either been vandalized or are completely gone. However, it is entirely possible that she never had a stone as well.

Hope this helps you a bit!
