RE: John Searles
Hi, I'm glad to help.
I don't know of any maps for the cemetery, but I'll try to find out next time I go. FYI - this cemetery is on the side of a hill and in one of the most beautiful locations I've ever seen. Very peaceful too.

Hello Martha. Unfortunately, I'm not nearby this cemetary, so will be unable to check this for you. Wish I could help! Hopefully, someone else will come to your rescue! Take care.

Actually, I am in Madison County, NE of St. Louis, about three hours away from CG. But oh my gosh, those people in CG were all inter-related! Carnahan kids married Moores and Bourlands, if I remember right. I'll try to get you some info. Meanwhile, I could hook you up with my ancestry tree if you want. Happy hunting!

I have not talked to any of the Berrys there but would like to some day. The area just south of CG is still called Berry Hill.

RE: Harriet Bays
Actually, I looked up Harriet. She was raised by her sister, Lucinda Carnahan Moore. She married an Upchurch and later moved to Pope County, IL. Happy hunting!

I have a Mary Slaton who first married James Carnahan who died in Jan 1839 before she married Bays in Dec 1839. I think Mary is buried with Carnahans.

If you are willing to send me your direct email I will send you copies of the pix that I have.
Hate how the mine has torn up the area around the cemetery. Really spoils the view. martywalterrn@yahoo.com

Martha, enjoyed the pictures you sent. Can you add some to find a grave on their memorials. Also I can't identify the people you sent me. I don't think Jewel is doing good. Her sister moved and I no longer have Wilma's number. Maybe some other decendants can identify them and let us know.
You can add more then one picture to a memorial. The drop down list has a place for them to be added. Just hit person each time you want to put one up.

Martha - I have transferred this page and will let you make the corrections. I suggest you make a separate page for your mother in the Windsor Cemetery and then leave the notation on her page. That way she will have her own entry. Thanks.

You can add a picture of the tombstone to an memorial, you can ask people to transfer memorials. The origional person who put up the memorial still gets the credit for doing so, but if it is transfered it will also have the memorial is maintained by .... and the origional person cannot make any changes. If two different people put in the same memorial one of them is a duplicate and you have to check the date the memorial was added to find a grave. One of them needs to be taken down. They really don't like duplicate memorial's. Every once in a while, I try to go through what I put up to see if there are any duplicates. But you can put a picture up on any memorial. So if you have pictures of our Upchurch-Moore graves or pictures of our family you are welcomed to do so. Or I could transfer your grandparents to you. Let me know.
