I was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating from college in 1970, I entered the United States Air Force. Durning my military service I was stationed in California, Florida, Colorado, Guam, Turkey and Germany. I retired from the service in 1991 and am currently living in northern California. I then worked for California Indian Manpower Consortium, Placer County Courts and the City of Lincoln for 15 years before retiring again in 2010.

I am married and I have 2 grown children. I am now a grandfather of 3 (2 girls and one boy).

I've always had an interest in geneology, but I just began documenting my family tree in 2010.
