Yesterday, I found him. I have many pictures, with other headstones as references. Lawrence indeed, has no headstone. I have applauded the Merced District Cemetery Staff, they provided me with the references.

I'll be home by tonight, let me know if or how you'd like the pictures.

Glad to be able to help,

RE: Henry Taylor Rhodig
No, I am not related to Mr. Rhodig. I knew both Mr. and Mrs. Rhodig from the Aurora Assembly of God Church. They were wonderful people and all of the children in the church called them Grandma and Grandpa Rhodig. I have been in their home many times on Alton Street for any number of events and enjoyed knowing both of them so much. If you are related, I would be more than happy to transfer the Memorial to you. Just let me know by using the Edit tab.

Dear Ed,

I have a couple pictures of Felix Wave Elder. One is very faded with his wife Helen and Nora. The other is a 3 x3 of Wave & Helen Elder in their 50s maybe. I will try to scan them and enhance them to load on here.

I would love to have pictures of Wave's dad. Mike (James M.), my husband, would enjoy having them.

Do you live in Owensboro too? We've been living in Owensboro, KY for ~19 years.

John Walker
Our Walkers might have a connection. My Mary E. Walker (1818-1894) m. Daniel F. Hayden (1814-1857) in Meade Co., Ky. in 1836. A John H. Taylor was her guardian. Some have Mary as the daughter of John H. Walker, Jr. and Sarah Tullis. It's certainly a possibilty as Daniel and Mary Hayden's 3rd and 4th children are Sally T. and John W.
