St Joseph Cemetery-Josephine Morris gravesite
Hi Sue-I found the location of Josephine Morris' burial but the gravesite is unmarked. I posted a picture with flowers indicating where the gravesite is. Also, Josephine is buried in a section of the cemetery which holds term graves. A term grave means that at the time of her burial the family essentially leased the gravesite for 20 years. If, at the end of the 20 years the site was paid for outright, the gravesite was resold and could be reused. I don't know if the gravesite was purchased. Josephine's burial would have been deep and any subsequent interment would be placed above...Mary

Hello,
Mary A Hinterleiter is a daughter of Dr. F. William Herbst, 120959553 and his wife Catharine nee Shall. I have requested her link to him. Also to her spouse E.W. Hinterleiter. Her father and brother Dr.William were very highly esteemed in their professions. See my memorial for her father.

Southon family
Thank you Sue for the headstone photos of my grandparents Alfred and Alice Southon. I guess we are related through Alfreds sister Hattie. I will try to find some good photos to add.

RE: Hinterleitner
Dear Sue,

Johann Caspar Hinterleitner is my adoptive father's 7th Great-grandfather, through his mother's line. (I am researching both my biological and my adoptive family trees).

RE: Hinderliter/Hinderlider
Yes, the two family names are the same. We are all descended from the same person, Johann Caspar Hinterleitner and his wife Barbara Maurer. They migrated to the America in 1738. There is a wonderful book by Walter Davis and Andrew Hinderliter called "The Hinderliter/Hinterleitner Saga" that lists the many descendants of the Hinderliter family. Feel free to email me at hinderliter3@verizon.net, if you would like me to lookup anyone for you in the Hinderliter family.

Auntie Florence
I don't know if we have ever met but it sounds as if your grandmother was my great aunt. My grandmother was her sister, Lillian Cooke Ball. I remember going to Ohio (from Illinois) with my family and staying with Auntie Florence and Uncle Clark. My dad took some home movies back then that have held up quite well. Some of them were from a trip there - I don't know the names of everybody in the Ohio part of the movies but you might. In fact, my sister Connie recently got them transferred to DVD. I would be glad to make a copy for you and send it.
