WOOLVERTON Margaret - Jean Woolverton, age 71, passed away suddenly after an accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at San Jose Catholic Church. Jean was born July 8, 1933 in Davenport, Iowa and spent her early years in Detroit, Michigan. he retired as the Executive Vicepresident of Woolverton OldsmobileGMC Truck, Inc. after 53 years of service. She was currently a Director of the Porcaro Performance Group, Inc. She was active in many civic organizations and volunteered much of her time to benefit those less fortunate. She enjoyed being part of the Inner Wheel Club of Jacksonville, where she served in key positions. She also served as national Treasurer of Inner Wheel USA. She was a 30 year member of San Jose Catholic Church. Jean was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Salvation Army, the Boy's Home Association, and Meals on Wheels. Her social membership included the University Club and the San Jose Country Club. S he is survived by her husband Frederick T. Woolverton, Jr. Her children: Greg Edwards (Donna) and their children Shelby, McKenzie and Garrett; Mark Woolverton and his son Joshua; Derick Woolverton; Rhonda Kovacs (Tom) and their son Kyle. Two Brothers: Albert Porcaro and John Porcaro. Four sisters: Jenny Pasfield, Eva Connolly, Gloria Treppa, and Mary Ann Horn. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 28, 2004 , from 6pm8pm at HARDAGEGIDDENS Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. A Vigil Services will be held in the Chapel at 7:00 PM. The family suggests memorials in the Chapel at 7:00 PM. The family suggest memorials in Mrs. Jean Woolverton's memory kindly be directed to the Boy's Home Association, 2354 University Blvd. N, Jacksonville, FL 322113296.
