Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Cascade, Idaho and lived in Cascade; Clarkston, Washington; Pullman, Washington; Monroe, Washington, Phoenix, Arizona for 55 years and now live in the White Moutains in a country town called Eagar, Arizona. I love quilting, golf and family history research. I look forward to having more time to do all now that I am in the White Mountains where the pace is much slower.

Barbara Helen Holliday Memorial
Hi, I'm writing to request you remove a photo from Barbara Helen Holliday's memorial #70349279.
I know your trying to show the cemetery sign and appreciate you wanting to share the photo. When I asked for a photo I was hoping her death date would be there and it still isn't.
She was my cousins wife. I hope I haven't offended you it's not my intent. I also use to live in Eagar, I too quilt (hand) and love the White Mountains also. I now live in Idaho and love it here too!!!!
Thank you,
Judy #47242543

RE: Sarah De Olguin
No... No relatives in the area. All are in Ca or Washington State now. Thanks. I doubt there were ordered graves but worth a try anyway!!

Sarah came across with her father, Esias Edwards on the wagon train from Ill after Joseph Smith and his brother were murdered. Esias wife Elizabeth was sickly and died in Ill before their journey. They settled in Cache Valley Utah where Esias Edwards had the first saw mill there.

I have a copy of his hand written journal. and a typed copy as well. He converted to Mormon along with Elizabeth in Ill one year when he let some Mormons live on his land in the winter. . None of his children I am told and her had 10 ever became a Mormon.

Sarah married Francisco De Olguin from Santiago Chili as her third husband. She only had two children. Her first husband Thomas Alger was killed in the Civil War. She married his brother John and had a son, Thomas George Alger. Divorced John and then married Francisco who was known as Frank... and in one census I saw he had taken on her name of Alger so hence he was Frank Alger then. His last name was always a mystery. Frank and Sarah had my GGm, Marcelina De Olguin who later married Hoyer aka JOE Bargmann from Copperopolis, Ca (His parents had come from Holland on a boat and they ended up in Ca. They had one daughter when they came to America. The other 5 children were born here in CA.

I don't think my own grandmother even knew it. Her last name of Bargmann was spelled so many different ways: Bargeman, Bargemann, Bargmann, Bargman, etc. I remember my grandmother being very proud of her pioneer relatives.

They all lived in Az and that is where my gm and her siblings were born, Apache Co area near Prescott AZ I think.

Thanks for your help B

Night now
Barb :)

RE: Sarah De Olguin
Thank you. Some day I will buy them a head stone. Maybe next time you are there since you know where they are located you could take a picture of the place where they are..Thanks for your great efforts. They are my great great grandparents :)
I appreciate your help. I am making a list of those close relatives who do not have headstones. One day I hope to get each one one.

Barb :)
