|CryptoGram||RE: Anna Dewitt Lafont|
Okay, I found Anna; she died in 1943 and is buried next to Mr. Lafont, but had remarried Harry Hazlett...always a challenge to track ladies who had more than two last names, but I'm glad she rests right where she is!

I have some family buried down there so I took photos of them and tried to find a few requests and then filled the camera up before I left.
So I am sorry I can't help, I did try to look up a death certificate for him but didn't find one. You are the only one who has contacted me so I know of no other person doing this line.
Welcome to Find A Grave. Hope you find something. And I offer to transfer any LaFonts to you as they are not my family. Let me know.

De nada, you're welcomed, Angela. Do you know what happened to Mr. Lafont's wife Annie Dewitt Lafont? I find her mentioned a few times in Albuquerque newspapers, but do not find her death record, and she is not next to Clarence at Sunset...I was hoping to include her picture while there.

You are very welcome. I made 4 books similar to the one you described for our grandchildren and loved every minute of it. We live in Missouri and they lived in Arkansas and Louisiana and I could not have done it without findagrave and volunteers. That is what makes me continue to volunteer. Ruth Smith
|Curtis Parish||RE: William LaFont|
Thanks. I have learned to either claim them or check before I leave. I checked about 4 when I remembered it and she had already posted pictures.

From the parish records, here is his death date.
LaFONT, William Lee
Sept. 15, 1903-Oct. 25, 1980
Cemetery is only unlocked on Sunday or if you stop by church and get the keys. If nothing comes up I will attempt to find his grave Sunday.
