|I enjoy doing genealogy on my families and try to link people on find a grave when I can. The families that I do research on are Horstmann, Von Behren, Gatzemeyer, Dilthey, Parks, Oberg, Kohlbusch, Haeffner, and Fluetsch. I will gladly transfer any of my memorials to anyone as long as they are not closely related to me.|

The mother of Hubert Michael is Rosa Sims.
Thank you for identifying the parents of Sr. Mary (166592982). I happened to take the picture. You identified the person. Together we've made this Find-A-Grave more valuable to others.

Thank you for all of the edit suggestions. Would you like to manage their memorials? Regards, Charlie

Have you been here recently...? How is being maintained....thank you for the correction/additions...

Linking to his parents - I left a note for you with the rejection that his parents' memorials state their burial location is uncertain. Since those memorials are posted against Find A Grave guidelines I won't link to them. While linking families is awesome, this is still Find A GRAVE, not Find A Family Tree. I also will not link to "unknown burial" memorials. Sorry!

I don't think so. I think it's in Twp.45N, R.4W as you say, but not Section 7. Henry Christoph Horstmann's obit (posted on his memorial) says his farm was on Little Berger Creek, and old plat maps show Horstmann land straddling Gasconade and Franklin counties at Sections 33 and 34, Twp.45N, R.4W. I posted a plat map on his wife's memorial.
To get to this from a Mapquest or Google map, take Hwy. 100 southeast from Hermann. Shortly after Hwy. 100 enters Franklin County, turn right on Hwy. Z. Shortly after Hwy. Z loops back into Gasconade County, take a left on Hwy. 312 (Horstmann Rd.), which will loop back into Franklin County. Horstmann Rd. proceeds south, and after it crosses Big Berger Creek, it will veer sharply left, then 90 degrees right. Now take the first private drive on your right, which leads back to the old Horstmann homestead. It's plainer if you switch the Mapquest or Google map to satellite view.

Dorine, Findagrave does not provide a location for this cemetery, or any headstone photographs. Perhaps its whereabouts are unknown. I posted a map of where I think it is located on Christoph Horstmann's wife's Findagrave page.

Thank you for reminding me to edit this memorial. How did you happen to com about it? Are you related? He is my grandfather and I have been looking for other relatives since he, my grandmother and father have passed.
