Per your request, I have photographed and uploaded photos and information to Mr. Marant. Happy to have completed your request.
|Spence Burton||Vasil Hamula|
Unfortunately you have Vasil Hamula listed in the wrong cemetery. According to his death certificate he was buried in Minooka, Lackawanna. There is a St. Joseph's Cemetery in Minooka....
Find A Grave has this cemetery also listed but it is best described/located at this webpage:
It would be good if you could change the location of his burial to his correct internment location.... i.e. if you say he was interred at St. Joseph's then it must be the one in Minooka which is listed on his death certificate.
Hope this helps your research.

Vasil is listed as being in St Josephs Cemetery in Olyphant. I haven't had any luck so far figuring out where this is. I'd be happy to take a picture if I can find the place.
I found Robert Cantwell for you. He's not at Riverdale, he's at Oakwood Cemetery in Niagara Falls. Here's how I tracked him down: when I saw that Riverdale had no record of him, I looked him up on Fulton History. I wrote to the newspaper who printed his obituary and asked what the obituary gave as the internment site. They said the only info that was given was "Niagara Falls". Riverdale is in Lewiston. So I went to the cemetery closest to me, Oakwood, which is in Niagara Falls, and sure enough, I found PFC Cantwell there in the Veteran's section. Thanks to the newspaper and the nice people at Oakwood, your relative has been found and a photo has been put on his memorial.

In order for anyone to get a picture at this cemetery, you must first call the cemetery office and ask what section and plot the grave is in. They seem to only give this info to family members.
Tell them you will be visiting from out of town and need to know where to look once you get there as you might come after hours. DO NOT tell them it is for Find a Grave. They want to be paid to do anything for this website.
Then post the section and plot info and someone will do their best to locate and photograph it for you!

Ron, I took two additional photos. 1 for a Anna and 1 for a Alex Cyers. Let me know if you build Memorials and would like me to upload.

I noticed that you have one or more photo requests for people buried in Holy Cross cemetery in Detroit MI. There cemetery office has permanently closed, all of their records were sent to the Our Lady of Hope cemetery office. Please call them at (734) 285-2155 to get the plot location of your loved ones, this way find a grave volunteers in the area can accurately locate the stone.

Thanks for adding the location of the grave for your photo requests. I have marked it on my map and now I look forward to the arrival of spring.

Hi Ron, I have some bad news. Although the Garden of Gethsemane section of Acacia is small, all the gravestones are of the flat type. My husband and I located another plot that was near the Cantwells, but despite our best efforts, could not find your relatives. We looked everywhere else too. I do have several photos of the Garden and a statue if you would like to review them at your e-mail address before you decide if you want them on F-A-G. Again, I am so sorry.....Lori
