I am happy to share what I have with anyone who asks, however, please do not take any of my photo contributions off of Findagrave and post them on Ancestry or anywhere else on the Internet without asking permission. Just send me an email and let me know what your intentions are and ask for permission. People who do a lot of work on these sites deserve to have full credit for their contributions. I might have something in my attic that you don't have, and vice versa, but those treasures would stay in the attic if not for the efforts of people who dust them off, identify them, and make sure they are posted for posterity. Let's honor and respect them for their contributions.|

The cemetery is on private land, but the owner was very helpful with taking me to the cemetery when I took the photos. I think his name is David Baril, but wasn't able to find a phone number for him. His son (I think) is Justin Baril and phone is 618-565-8300. Also be sure to check the information at the Jackson County Historical Society in Murphysboro, IL. This is the website http://jchsil.com/

From what I have been told the Dry Hill cemetery is/was on the Dry Hill road. I have never been able to locate it. I had been told that it may have been on the property where a woman by the name of June Black lived about 10 to 15 years ago.
If memory serves me you would turn off of Rt. 3 go towards Ava. The Dry Hill road is a left hand turn off of this blacktop. The first house on the left on the top of the hill is where June Black lived. I do not remember her connection to the family right off hand.
The Wright-Talbott cemetery is located on Rt. 3. I understand that property was in the Wright family. At some point Annie Wright and her husband Peter K. Talbott lived there.

Private E-mail would be best. I am related to you through Henry and his first wife's son Oscar and it is not a blood relationship. My Dad's first cousin married Oscar.

Osaar H Fishbach's wife (Ellen Ann Henthorn)is my Dad's first cousin. He and my Mother did a lot of research on their relatives in the 60's and 70's so they talked to people who are gone now. They have listed for Henry's wife Mary Wolf but no other information. I found her listed on Ancestry as Mary Ellen (Ella) Wolf, b April 11, 1860, Cherry Grove, Carroll, Ill.; d March 19, 1896 in Beatrice, Gage, Nebraska. Her parents were listed as Samuel H Middlekauff Wolf and Louisa Wallace. I believe the spouse you have listed is a second wife as she is only 10 years older than the oldest child. The children born after 1896 are hers and Henrys'. May I use the picture you have of Henry Fishbach on my page for him in my FTM? It is so nice to put a face to a name. You have done such a wonder job on this site.

Hi Jeri - How did I not know you did this a few years ago? How awesome! So much work, I know. I've done all of Granddad's family and have put in a request with you to link him to his parents and that'll tie everyone together. Looking forward to looking through everything you've posted!

Thanks for the details. I did figure from the census record that she must have been married to Lillian's father about 1891. Do you know the name of her second husband, and of Lillian's husband?
|Deborah King Medina||Allie M Shelton Barlow|
I have been trying for years to track down a photo of a member of the Briggs family. Specifically, the SISTER of Emma Liza Briggs Shelton, Imogene Briggs Juergens which would be Allie's Shelton Barlow's maternal Aunt.
Imogene's husband, Herman Juergens was the brother of my Great-Grandmother.
I see you have added wonderful photo's to Allie's Find A Grave Memorial and hope that you might have or know someone who may have a photo of Imogene.

I have made the changes you suggested and would be happy to transfer any of your relatives to you. There are lots of other graves in the Proctor Cemetery that I was unable to read, but no one was listing them. I am related to the Mills in the Barrett Cemetery, but don't go that direction too often (3 hours away).
