I've been involved in Chapman genealogy for some 30 years. My initiation into anything that resembles organized genealogy was due to Gil Alford who started a newsletter ("Chapman Chatter") which eventually led to the Chapman Family Association (www.chapmanfamilies.org). I continue to be involved with this organization, currently as it's President. We encourage any with Chapman ancestry to make contact.|
Most of my efforts are devoted to the SW MO & a bit of N.W. AR, N.E. OK & S.E. KS cemeteries. I encourage contact, corrections & comments & am pleased to transfer to family members. If you have a better photo, go ahead & post but let me know so I can delete mine.

Hello Al - I would like your permission to download the photo of William Eugene Stufflebeam.
I am not related but while working on my husband's extended lines, his name showed up. I wish no credit for the photo, just want to help others in case they are related and will link back to your photo.
|Alabama Poes||RE: Jesse Todd|
Jesse Todd was my husband's Great Uncle, (his maternal grandfather's brother, William Monroe Todd). His father was indeed Thomas Smith Todd (I just forgot to add his name to Jesse's memorial). From what the family remembers, Jesse had full intentions of being buried with his father, however, he died in Rawlins, WY and was buried in the same cemetery as his mother, who was divorced from Thomas. The military paid for the headstone in the Rawlin's cemetery. That explains Owen's name,and date of birth on the Missouri headstone, and the lack of a date of death. The social security death index also states Jesse Owen died in Rawlins. I can ask my husband's brother if he has a death certificate for Jesse. Hope this helps.

I've discovered Memorial#158708070 For Gilbert Lee Garrow has his burial location and gravestone photo attached.
Memorial# 120051714 which you set up has the obituary - can you possibly work out combining the information into one record?

|Julie West||I cannot find a merged memorial|
Find A Grave Memorial# 13593750 Pearl Cain
has her Children:
Marjorie May Cain May (1917 - 1934)*
But when I try to go to the link for Marjorie, it says it has been mergerd, 'click here'. The click here doesn't go anywhere. Where is Marjorie?
|Deb||RE: Robert Bone|
Hello Al. I probably do not need to say, but will anyway, that my memorial is NOT the dup. The other one, posted 3 years later is the dup and logically should be the one removed. Since you now manage both my original and Silver's dup, I would prefer you to update the original and ask the dup'r to delete theirs. I understand that is extra trouble for you. If you do not wish to do it that way, please transfer my memorial back to me and I will update it. Thanks, Deb

|Debbie Colledge||Rachel Tabitha Turner Whitehead|
Memorial #100094675. Rachel is my 2nd great aunt. I have been in recent communication with her granddaughter, Patricia Ann Mishler. According to Patricia, Rachel's name is actually Rachel Talitha Turner Whitehead - not Tabitha. Would you please correct the memorial to reflect her given name?
Thank you for your work in find a grave. Debbie Colledge
|Joyce Snell||Susie Haggard|
Is Susie surname SCHRADER or SCHNADER. She was married to Samuel Monroe Haggard (the son) and her surname is spelled both ways on separate Find A Grave memorial pages.
